Welcome to the Rotary Club of the Venice Sunrise
Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 200 countries, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to 33,000 Rotary clubs. The Rotary International motto is Service Above Self.
Members of the Venice Sunrise Rotary Club are business professionals in our community and widely recognized for their service work both locally and globally.
Internationally we have supported Polio Plus Rotarys international project to eradicate polio in the world, the Shelter Box program providing disaster relief worldwide along with many other worthwhile projects.
Locally, we support education thru scholarships, dictionaries, leadership training and recognition awards, our community thru Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Little League, Loveland Center, Salvation Army, Project Graduation, and United Way as well as many District projects.
If you have a desire to give back to your community, Venice Sunrise Rotary provides hands on assistance to a multitude of charitable organizations and events around town. Our small but active membership is as diverse as the community in which we live. We enjoy our fellowship, do business with one another and work and play together as often as we can. Fellowship is the foundation of our service work..
